I dunno, I'm REALLY loving Asylum. There's so much good stuff in there. I love Zachary Quinto's character, Dr. Thredson, and I think he does a really good job of portraying this "Oh you can totally trust me" facade.

Yes, I absolutely loved him too! And I totally trusted him. Ha, I would have gotten into his car immediately after his offering to come with him. Well, at least I would have gotten around to enjoy some croque-monsieur with him. :D  He is a great actor. I already loved him as Sylar in Heroes back then.

I know. I am usually not afraid of Clowns, but this one is so creepy.

Re: What are you watching?

About halfway through Freakshow. Dandy is just. freaking. creepy. I can't watch more than a couple episodes at a time. His character and relationship with his mother is so bizarre. And the first clown :( His story is so sad, now that I've heard it... He's still a creepy m-f-er, but is much more tragic. All the characters are tragic. Except Elsa, she's just a bitch.

I watched Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children the other day. Without having read the book, I liked it.

Re: What are you watching?

I did finish Freakshow up yesterday! Wow, that was a pretty crazy season. I'd say it takes second place, behind Asylum. It is really, really good. I thought it was really clever how they *** minor spoiler minor spoiler minor spoiler minor spoiler *** tied Pepper's storyline into Asylum. THAT was cool. With some of the same actors each season, it's fun to see them do that, and I know it must also be a challenge, since they're reusing faces with different names. I was also really confused the episode that opened with Jimmy singing Nirvana's "Come As You Are." I mean, the lyrics are pretty applicable, so it totally works, I just had a "wait, what's going on, wrong decade!" moment.

I was totally going to join the rest of you in watching Stranger Things, and thought about putting it on tonight while I wait for the trick-or-treaters...

Just watched Alias Grace on Netflix. Liked so much better than The Handmaid's Tale on Hulu.

We finished Stranger Things season 2.
Started on a Swedish series that starts at the end of WW2 in Stockholm., seems to focus on class issues, but we only saw 1 episode so far.
