Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

I think you could still get plane tickets. (And if you're willing to share with either RedNat or with the baby, we might even find a spot for you to sleep)

Re: The Blue Tailor

I've thought about it several times, but one trip per year is about as much as I can find energy for.
Would be super awesome to meet everyone of course.

Silly, lazy old man :p

Re: The Blue Tailor

Trying to find a good site to order some of those Swarovski rhinestones (to add a sparkle to my shinies costume). Found a site that did small quantities, but they charged twice as much for the shipping as for the stones... And all the European sites I found so far only do large quantities.

Oh well, it can wait until after my holidays. No point in ordering now when they can't deliver on time anyway.

Re: The Blue Tailor

I lost a crafts store today. I just couldn't find it anymore. Really weird, considering the fact that it was relatively new.

In better news I found shiny organza that we could use for our elemental costumes: http://www.mobypicture.com/user/lvdpal/view/19965818
(xavie, magpie, Libra, if you want any, it would only cost 2,95 EUR. It was in their regular collection, so I can fetch some after the holidays if you like.)

I'm also pondering changing the front of my vest to something resembling this: http://www.mobypicture.com/user/lvdpal/view/19965819
Not sure if that would work or not.

Re: The Blue Tailor

I'll go back to that store after my holiday then.
