Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

TWTreehouse

Any TWTreehouse lysters out there know if something has happened to the lyst?

I don't seem to have had anything from it for 2 days now... has everyone emigrated to Shadowmarch?!

Re: TWTreehouse

I don't think anything's happened to the list itself -- checking the site, the last post was dated 06/18 -- though I suppose it's possible that a lot of us are burning our energy here at Shadowmarch.

It's very typical for the lyst to go through lulls and phases where not much is going on.  I wouldn't be too concerned about it, and I wouldn't worry that Shadowmarch will suck the life from the lyst... the lyst has its own sense of community that I think Shadowmarch can't truly duplicate.  (But maybe I'm biased after being a lyster for 4 years and a Shadowmarch-er for only a month.)

Re: TWTreehouse

the list is easier for me to keep up w/, since ostensibly everything comes right to my inbox (& i can check the website if not to catch up).

perhaps i just scared everyone off by asking about my poor SO's bunnies. ;)

Hope you find a home for the buns!

Cooooooolaroonie!

Just thought I'd check as my e-mail boxes have gone quieter than a carol singer with a laryngectomy singing silent night at 200000kHz

I get withdrawal ya know...

There are bite marks on my keyboard...

Re: TWTreehouse

hi bonnie! i didn't realize that was you til i checked your profile.

well, the list does fall silent now & again, which still astonishes me b/c i can recall the times of 100+ posts a day. even tho' that was a few years ago i still get surprised when the list actually quiets down!

Well, I did introduce myself, first post, proper-like.  I'm trying to change my opinionated spots and threadkilling abilities.

Re: TWTreehouse

whoa!! i went over to the intro thread, thinking that somehow i missed your post, but i didn't--somehow i just missed both the part where you say you're fr. the list & your name, AND the part where you refer to me! *boggles* that's what skimming or multi-tasking gets me!

btw, as far as threadkilling, happens to everyone, even w/non-political threads. just wait. someone'll start talking again soon. ^_^
