Re: Oxygen Bar and Needlework Shop

Pretty, Em. I'd be hard pressed to choose a color myself although right now I'm leaning toward either velveteen or sea spray. Let us know which you pick so we can "aw!"

Royal? Or Regal? *can't find Royal amongst the offered colors*

I'm almost done with my niece's cardigan, but man is that actual finishing stuff a lot of work! and hard too!

You're right, Sahi. "Regal." I should know better than to trust my oh-so leaky memory.

That's cute! I especially like the double buttons.

Someday will find you.

That is so cute, Sahi. Are you saving it as a gift for a special occasion or have you given it to your niece already?

I was rushing to get it done before yesterday afternoon when my sister celebrated her birthday.

Re: Oxygen Bar and Needlework Shop

And I've now continued work on my brother's cardigan. Which is going to take forever.

The Avengers was wonderfully fun mindlessness. Really like Ruffalo's Bruce Banner/Hulk.

Re: Oxygen Bar and Needlework Shop

Was that the one at the very end after all the credits? I did. But I don't think those were what you said. I think it was what they were discussing during the film.

Re: Oxygen Bar and Needlework Shop

Yes, that is the scene!  Are you sure those were not tacos that they were eating?  They looked like tacos to me.  Also, did many people at your screening stay to watch the credits?  When I saw the film last Sunday, a few people left during the credits, but most stayed.  Like ourselves, they are veterans of Marvel movies and know what to expect.

***** Possible Spoiler *****

I'm thinking that was pita bread and they were eating shawarma. Was it Stark who mentioned there was a shawarma place nearby and he'd always wanted to try it? I think that's where they were.

Re: Oxygen Bar and Needlework Shop

Just checked my grades - 2 As, 1 B, 2 Cs. Not bad for a leaky-brained old broad. Of course, the As & B were in classes I enjoyed and the Cs were in classes I hated. I still resist being forced to do things I really don't like.

Didn't see the end but... Yes, that was Stark who mentioned that.

Re: Oxygen Bar and Needlework Shop

Had to report for a jury summons today. Didn't get picked, but I did spot a man sitting three down from me reading a copy of Otherland.

Re: Oxygen Bar and Needlework Shop

Bought a copy of a crochet magazine. Lots of nice patterns. Now to find some time to actually start crocheting. :)

Re: Oxygen Bar and Needlework Shop

Finally reached the 150th row of the cardigan I'm knitting. It would be half (either front or back) of a knee length skirt (for myself) already. Still half of the back to go though. (Not to mention both front panels, and the sleeves.)

Re: Oxygen Bar and Needlework Shop

I did it. I graduated with a 3.32 average. I have a BBA in Computer Information Systems. It only took me 38 years to finish.

Time to party!

(Actually, friends are taking me to see The Hobbit tomorrow and treating me to lunch. I may indulge in a beer or a glass of wine, depending on where we go. Woot!)

Re: Oxygen Bar and Needlework Shop

Thanks bunches. We're going to have champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries in the 'Mint soon as I make it over there to spread the news.

We'll all be there ... whenever ... there'll never be matters of time on Smarch ... I'll keep the champagne chilled and the strawberries fresh!
