QM - The Pantry
It's small, but cosy - and small is all right, there's never much of a crowd these days anyway! Cushions cover the floors and some of the shelves. The rest is filled with bags of flour, sugar, pasta, rice... baskets of potatoes and onions... jars of jam, pickles, preserves... and of course bottles of every drink you could wish for! And there might be some full cookie tins up on the high shelves - climb up and check!

Note to self: not even tomato-obsessed people like me should try to eat 1 kg of them in one go.

Maen Mint,
autumn is upon us. Had to wear my winter coat and gloves riding to work and now the sun is heating up the air so I'll long for a Tshirt ridning home ...

Fortunately, or actually mostly sadly, my tomato plants never yield more than a handful at a time. So I've never tried a kilo. Nor do I plan to.

*curls up on a pillow-covered shelf*
Long day... went on an excursion with my boss today, to a sort of balcony plants exhibition, and came home very late (and with two new plants. Oops.) then cleaned a window (I'm trying to do one a day, it's high time!) and picked up my bike from the train station (my boss dropped me and my plants off at home)... now, finally, time to sit down. The funny thing is, much of the day was spent sitting in the car, but I'm still really tired!

I've got more diseases and infections than I can count at the moment. Asia is horrendous for that I have discovered. It takes forever for things to heal here.

Re: QM - The Pantry
Cutting more apples to dry while I wait for my dinner to get done. I'm huuuungry!
Funny thing at work today. Two customers come up, an elderly couple looking for some pansies, and talking to them, the wife's voice sounded more and more familiar. I eventually asked her, and it was indeed my old History teacher!

I thought I'd bake another apple pie tonight (got a new recipe to try out), but I'm too tired. No point in going to bed yet, though, the dehydrator is still on.

This weekend is the last formal, official weekend of the Summer of 2011. The Autumn of 2011 officially begins next Friday. Just a small observation.

More pictures of prettyness
These are from Luang Prabang which is my favourite city in asia so far. It's clean, beautiful, the people are lovely, the coffee is good, the food is better and there's a fair bit of stuff to do around there.

Re: QM - The Pantry
Went on a little hike with my best friend yesterday... a "little" tired today. I thought for a while I'd bike out to the garden show, but I suppose there'll still be enough time next weekend. The weather isn't looking too great, and I should be cleaning anyway.
