Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

Barrick and Gyir

Please give me a chance on this one, I just recently got into art- Here's my view of Shadowrise

http://johnnyfau.deviantart.com/#/d4223cu a failed attempt at art

If that doesn't satisfy anyone, here's a poem

A distant, pale, and fading blue
A cast of dreary shadow view
A thousand drifting neon green
Floating through a dark ravine
A subtle shift of dark and light
Of shadow creatures in the night
A danger that stands off alone
Waiting on an empty throne

Twisting towers reach above
A land devoid of hate or love
Where soft a delicate creature sleeps
And beside her form a blind king weeps
But forever shall not pass them by
As a sister queen slowly dies
A hope remains a pact of glass
To wait for silent death to pass

Nice, I like both the art and the poem!

Re: Barrick and Gyir

wow, thanks! The lines on the drawing are very messy, it looks better in icon view. But the feedback is much appreciated =]

Re: Barrick and Gyir

I kinda liked the messy style. And I forgot to say this before, but welcome aboard!
