Release of Shadowheart Pushed back?

got a message from chapters/indigo that the release date was pushed back from oct 26 til Nov 30?

wtf? :/

the most important thing is that the release will yet be in 2010, 1 month delay is no reason to become desperate ;-)

1 month is NOTHING.

If it was George R. Martin I'd be worried, but it's Tad- no biggie

well the only reason it sucks is cuz i preordered shadowheart and towers of midnight on the same order...they probably wont deliver them separately, so now i'll have to wait for both :(

though i am reading george rr martin right now anyway so maybe i'll be busy reading them still in november

Well I believe it was the beginning of Shadowrise where Tad wrote the final book would be out "around November" to paraphrase, so I've just kind of assumed November generally, anyway, haha.

Amazon does split orders, if you ordered there.

Is the Orbit release really going to be that much later?

If you look at the product details it says Feb 2011.
I've ordered this version of the book since I like the Orbit covers more and have bought the previous three books from that publisher.
I don't intend to mess my entire series up by buying another publishers release now though.

Any word on that date still just being a guesstimate by amazon, or is the Orbit release really that much later?

i dont see a reason why amazon should post a fake date, on the one hand it would be sad because i wanted it for the xmas holidays, but on the other hand so i would have more time to re-read part 1-3 again before the 4 release ^^

btw: nice shadowheart cover, 1 month ago there was only a mirrored red version of the shadowplay cover, but this looks way more awesome! to my mind the orbit covers are always > compared to the us covers.

according to the german amazon.de the uk orbit SOFTCOVER will be released in NOVEMBER 2010, only the HARDCOVER is due to FEBRUARY 2011 ;-) ... good that i bought so far only the softcover versions ^^
