Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

Whee, my app is almost working. Which is not the same as finished though.

Re: QM - Let's Go Hunting!

Not a very exhausting day, but I'm still tired. And yet, I don't feel much like sitting still - guess I'm going to shuffle some plants around and see if I can't propagate something.

*swishes through*

Good Morning:D

I'm in a disgustingly good mood. Slept like a stone, no sore muscles(I do feel them, but it's not painfull). Woke up before the first alarm went off. Usually I sleep through that and only wake up to the second or third.
Since I was up that early I thought to myself I could do a bit of laundry. And I did. Before breakfast!
I'm not entirely myself today....

Re: QM - Let's Go Hunting!

Guess I got your sore muscles then! I was already sore right after the warming up exercises yesterday. And it only got worse from then on. I even took a shower this morning to loosen up a bit.

And then I forgot the key to my office. Fortunately Ivo has the day off and dropped them off.

Try that funny symbol in the top left corner. I hate 2007 so much, that I chucked it off my computer not an hour after installing it. *is a happy OO user now*

Re: QM - Let's Go Hunting!

Oh, dear. I made the mistake of clicking on "cell styles," looking for cell borders. Instead, I got a reference to a Clint Eastwood film "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly." WTF????

Hm. While I'm making a mess, I might as well propagate some other plants, too.

*peeks in*

Ivo's present came in today, meaning it's still in time for his birthday (tomorrow). Also, I learned to play birthday songs today. Should find some time to practice them... (Preferably when he can't hear me.)
