Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

Hey, do you still do Artist's Way stuff, like pages and artist's dates and all that?

I did it this last week, and it was kind of nice. It is so hard to stick with, but I found taking myself out was just what I needed. I might try to get back to it again, more regularly.

I had a hard time staying on track, Marian. Bed is just too nice to get up an hour earlier! :o(

Someday will find you.

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

Yeah, I know what you mean. I wish I could stick with it, though; I feel so much clearer about the day when I take that time.

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

Okay, Em, I think I'm heading out for a while. A book is calling!

Have a good day! (And anyone else who drops by, too.)

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

Still not in bed. While showering, I remembered a certain song I had promised myself to listen to tonight, in the hope that it finally will be true. It probably won't be, though... like one classmate said, as we all sat together in our tent in the rain, "and in three years we'll see each other at master school, right?"
Still... *hums "nie mehr schule"*

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

Am so jealous!  I have made a pact with my HP movie buddy to not see the movie 'til she gets to Calgary on Friday the 17th.  Those two days will be killers!!  but we've seen the last 4 together so we can't stop now.

Took the day off today. Going to Myrtle Beach to play miniature golf and have lunch - a late Father's Day prezzie for husband.

Someday will find you.

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

I've taken the afternoon off - I don't think I can handle a full week of work after last week and the weekend. I'll try to go to bed early for once.

Tomorrow I have to go back to school after all, for a meeting with our project supervisor, to finish up the documentation thingy.

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

*waves*
I just emptied my pencil case - I don't expect to need it again now. And I no longer need to put ordinary, "respectable" blue ink into my pen. Now I can write blue and black and brown and green and red and turquoise and purple and yellow and orange and pink - no more need for two separate pens (one for private and one for work/school related things)

Booh to feeling ill because of the weather!

Almost time for me to leave for a nano-related meeting.

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

So much for going to bed early.
Re-wrote the project documentation thingy for the tenth time, put away my school things, tried to re-arrange my books in a slightly more meaningful order...
