Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. Re: QM - Bar de Doom

The plant recognition test was easy as well. For me, anyway. 100 plants and tools, and I filled out almost everything.
And now we've finally started on our project. Chaos, as expected.

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

Project-stuff is becoming even more chaotic than I thought it would be all along, but oh well. I'll do my share of the slave labour and then, hopefully, I'll never need to see the inside of a school again. (Except for the last exams in September of course).

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

I wonder if I can go to school by bike tomorrow. I don't even know when we're meeting tomorrow, but I'd rather go to the bank first (I assigned myself the task of getting change for when we sell plants at the Flower Festival. I'd rather do that than buying tablecloths.)
I don't think anyone else knows when we're meeting, either...

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

Today seems to be another perfectly useless day.  We can't do anything until we get our plants, which won't happen until late in the afternoon, so I'll now sit around until 1 PM, when we're supposed to get our reports, then probably go home (I think I'm the only one of our group who's not staying at school for the night) and offer to do some more work tomorrow morning instead.

Bah, boss hasn't sent me the email he promised. Yet I need it if I have to order his stuff.

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

I've worked on our project documentation a bit, but there isn't really a lot I can do before we get our plants.

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

G'maen!

i stayed up to watch the 12 o'clock news, because a report from the concert my brother was working at last night was supposed to be featured, and guess what? nothing but talking about wether Michael Jackson is dead or if it's a hoax(it wasn't confirmed at that point). *growls*

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

Yeah, it was the only item on the news this morning as well. It was only supposed to be the headlines, and normally there are about four of them.

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

Waiting, waiting, waiting... I think I'll go home after we get our reports, and call the "boss" of my project team later, when they hopefully have all the plants, so he can tell me what plant they have, so I can write the price lists and name tags and whatever else we might need.

How's things there? The weather here is hot and humid -- had a huge rainstorm last night.

The talls ships are coming into town for the weekend. Hopefully, we can get down to see them Sunday (husband works tomorrow).

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

It's a good thing I went home right after we got our reports, rather than waiting for a couple of hours until we get our plants (I expect trouble with our dear headmaster, who wants to see everything finished by 5 or 6 PM) - not only was I feeling unbearably tired angry and had a headache, it's now raining again - started just when I turned the corner to the back door.

I - never mind. I should head over to the rant list instead of filling the Mint with bad temper.
