Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

All of that will look excellent on a resume for a future job, Libra!

Time to go home. Going to sit with youngest and have more knitting lessons.

Later days, y'all!

Someday will find you.

What a useless day. Went to school, did nothing for a while, and went home again. I'm expecting the same tomorrow.

Oh Boooooh! my brother is not feeling too well and decided that he should not go to the Devildriver / Down concert with me tomorrow, as there's a concert on thursday where he's doing the sound engineering, and he should be fit. which i totally understand, but still- Heavy Metal concerts are much more fun with bro:(

I am going to have a useless day tomorrow.  It is a statutory holiday in my little corner of the planet.  However, I will be back at work on Thursday.

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

I'm getting so fed up with this... every day, I come to this stupid school, sit around and twiddle my thumbs and go home again. It would be more useful if I stayed in bed. I go to school to learn something, dammit, not to waste my time. Why can't I just take my exams and go back to work?

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

Gah. Spent almost an hour waiting on a cold, windy platform for a delayed train (for which, unfortunately, no-one is to blame but the weather. I'm so angry I want to blame someone. And yes, I know that's stupid), trying to dodge an annoyingly talkative woman.

Thanks. I'm feeling so cold all the time that not even hot chocolate or warm clothes help any more. *is wearing her cloak* And tomorrow, as soon as we've taken the exams, we'll have to work on our project outdoors. Probably it will be raining again. And I can't afford to fall ill!

ONLY FIVE WEEKS.... ONLY FIVE WEEKS... ONLY FIVE WEEKS...

*glees happily*

HA! With all the overtime I'm doing right now, I'm about ready to tell manager when he comes back, that the overtime fully compensates for me not doing the tiniest bit of work during Castlefest....

Well... work is interesting... hahahaha.... but sooooo unorganized. It's unbelievable... and due to the fact that the Netherlands is the only country it seems not on holiday today.. I had a very very quiet day....

Now tomorrow however.....

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

Been revising like crazy again, and now I'll finally go to bed. And tomorrow I get to take more exams, yay! I'm actually kind of looking forward to them.

Not so enthusiastic about the project. Mostly because of the weather. And because I'm bored and frustrated and just want to get my goddamn report on Friday and go home and celebrate the end of school, rather than working all weekend.

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

*slumps down*

i just returned from the friggin' greatest concert i have ever been to. Devildriver were so awesome, i still can't believe it. And i got the coolest Band- Shirt! Also, Down rocked the place, even though i hardly know their songs(have a bit catching up to do now), i totally enjoyed their set.

sorry for talking Heavy Metal:D *is still excited*

now to check out if the sound on the video i made is as crappy as i fear it is.. and then bed, eventually
*wavies*

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

Just took the multiple choice test. 29 out of 30. And I gave the examiner the list of crappy questions, so let's hope they'll correct them.
