Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

Two Simon Pictures

First, a drawing of Simon and Hepzibah by my girlfriend.

http://i27.tinypic.com/34xjomd.jpg

Second, a quick manip of Rupert Grint as Seoman Snowlock (if you use your imagination and squint).

Edit:

And here's the 'finished' version of my girls drawing.

Re: Two Simon Pictures

I like the expression on his face in the first one - the drawing.

Who's Rupert Grint? Clueless....

Re: Two Simon Pictures

He's Ron in the Harry Potter movies.
I could definitely see him as a Simon - at least as a Simon Mooncalf, maybe not so much a Seoman Snowlock :P

My girl ended up finishing off that Simon and Hepzibah picture. I edited the original post, hah.

Pics or it isn't true :P

Or, you could take a photo of the painting and put it in the photography thread...

Wow! I'm a genius!

EDIT: Oh, you edited it now. Well there ya go. Nice work too, btw.

Re: Two Simon Pictures

"Le-Saboteur"? I remember her from deviant art! (I was about to comment on the pic, but then deviant art went into read-only mode. I'll comment later!)
Anyway, I like it very much!

Re: Two Simon Pictures

Hee, for a second there I missed the fact that you had written that it was done by your girlfriend and thought 'your girl' referred to a daughter. ;)

Re: Two Simon Pictures

I think if they made a movie, Simon should be more manly than that emo guy from Harry Potter. I wouldn't want to see another annoying emo kid made hero. I'd like him as normal young man who is credible in the role where he goes thru a lot. Plus Simon has beard.
