Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

Yay for Smarchmoots! I hope the financial stuff works out well. :)

I really should do something useful, but I absolutely don't want to. And my jaw is hurting again. Damn.

Yes, yay Smarchmoots! You just finished one, right?

Very happy I get to go. *glow glow*

Your poor jaw. Chronic pain sucks.

Yeah... and it has totally destroyed my productivity.

Your poor jaw. Chronic pain sucks.

It had disappeared for so long (except for a tiny bit last weekend, which I blame on the hostel pillow), but today it came back full force.
Ah well. If it doesn't stop soon, I'll have to schedule another appointment with the physiotherapist, which means I get off work for an hour or so.

Re: QM - The pink stables

Well, that's something, at least.

Okay, I'm off the computer for a bit, before I do something else rash! :)

Have a good rest-of-day!

Bye Marian!

I'm going to busy myself with one of my useless-but-ambitious projects again.

Re: QM - The pink stables

I took a break, then came back to wasting time online and telling myself I'm leaving any second. Which I think I really should!

Re: QM - The pink stables

Maen Mint! Had my birthday party yesterday, and since I'd been hoarding book coupons since last december, I can now buy even more books than I usually do at Thanksgiving. Of course my TBR shelf is still full, so it will have to wait a little longer.

Uploading some of my pictures. I'll put up links in the Vienna topic.

G'maen! I really wanted to sleep in since I was up late-ish, but the world has conspired to wake me up so I'm here checking the boards and email and stuff before I drag my sorry self out for coffee.

*giggles at the flailing, kicking pink Magpie*

How goes your day?

I've finally decided what to do about work ... I will sit tight, use the "down time" at work to do homework and brush up on my programming skills (I can take my laptop to work to work on) ... if something falls into my lap, I will pursue it, but will not actively seek employment until I get fired.

I am hoping I can last until I finish school in 20 weeks.

Someday will find you.

Re: QM - The pink stables

I'm wasting my day again. I should write my CV (which I need to apply for the exam) and start on one of those papers I have to write, or at least work on a story or my latin, but instead I'm playing around with my useless plant database again.

Re: QM - The pink stables

True enough.

Still, stuff needs to be done, and I know that if I don't get a move on, I'll panic about it in a few weeks. But I just don't feel like it.
