Want to roast a bun? (as in bread, I don't know the proper word)

Ooh, sausages would be awesome!
*does a happy dance* I've implemented all my test-cases. Now all I have to do is clean up my code (and implement a front-end, but that's the next task).

Re: QM - The Genisis X is leaving Mint
I have found, while doing boring work, I can listen to a book on tape (or CD). If I miss something, I just back it up and re-listen. I am currently listening to Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, which is very interesting, what with all the footnotes.
Someday will find you.

Re: QM - The Genisis X is leaving Mint
I tried to do that while working in the garden last year, but I didn't want to buy any, and the library has very few audiobooks, and the few that they have didn't interest me. I wish we were allowed to listen to anything other than the horrible whiny radio at work.

Our library has quite a selection -- which is where I borrowed this one from.

Re: QM - The Genisis X is leaving Mint
Our library sucks. They have this huge, new building (which I find rather less comfortable than the old one), but no books that interest me. The fantasy section is tiny and the books are all ancient - I was really amazed that they had any Tadbooks.
Now I miss the old library... it was near my old school, so I could stop and get something to read on the way home. And I also almost miss my old school. Not school as such, but the atmospere there, and my classmates and teachers... Partly, vocational school is to blame for that, and partly, I blame Obama - he reminds me of one of my classmates. If he turns his head a certain way, or laughs, I swear he looks just like him. Always makes me giggle.

I have a hard time staying in our local library; it has mildew, which makes me sneeze.
The library downtown is nice. But, I don't get there often enough.
Someday will find you.

I'm just realizing it's been ages and ages since I've been to the library at all - nearly a year.

The catbeast seems to be afraid of our visitor - he's spent the last two hours or so crouched under my desk, not moving.

Yeah... but I have to give them back. I like to keep my books. It's quite stupid, because I rarely have time for rereads, but I still want to keep them.

Oh, I understand the desire to keep books. However, there's lots of books I don't even know exist -- and I love browsing through the stacks.

Re: QM - The Genisis X is leaving Mint
That's true, too. I should check where there is a library around here (since I don't like the new main library).
Anyway, bed.

Re: QM - The Genisis X is leaving Mint
I love the library. I don't think I'd have been able to read anything new in two years without it. And I find it useful for the things I am mildly curious about but won't by, like self-help books.

Re: QM - The Genisis X is leaving Mint
It's been quite a while since I was last in a library. I'm still a member though, kind of like a sponsorship. :) As a kid I visited the library quite often.
