Sahi, yes its hard at times, but I'm trying to finagle the current good will toward me into an instructing position and away from being a mission pilot.  However the trip in June looks pretty unavoidable unless I quit.  As unpopular as this may be with the current mood in the U.S. and worldwide, I believe in our work and what we do, and consider it to be the most important work I've ever done.  I feel infinitely more useful doing this than I ever did in that school classroom I was imprisoned in.
