Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

Tour Bids - vote for a tour near you!

This is your chance to air your grievances about the lack of Tad_Signing_Tour in your area, show you still care, and are willing to forgive, if only the situation is remedied.

I guess if we're really lucky, and cross all our fingers and toes, Tad might reward the area with the most votes with an appearance ;)

I know I have no chance, but I'm voting for IRELAND! :D

I'm voting for a tour of the major cities of Canada - even just one city per province would be nice (provided that Vancouver is in the list).  In general, though, people think the only place worth going to in Canada is Toronto, or maybe Montreal...  Too bad, really.

Personally, I think he should stay home and write for us, but if he has to go somewhere, Canada is a good idea. How about Victoria? That's on Vancouver Island. In British Columbia. Canada.

Wherever I happen to be at any given time :)

Nah, just kidding. It all depends on when you see, the where has to come from the when.

Wow, that's pretty philosophical for me!

Aleya you think you have no chance, my vote is for New Zealand.

You know the terrible thing, Tad was out here recently and I didn't know about it till he had gone :(

Ah, Whitestar, you will hopefully have an advantage when the rings film comes out, and everyone wants to go there to look at the filming locations :)
I know I intend to visit. I think the ticket to NZ from here costs more than my car - LOL!

Yeah, Tad _needs_ to come to the Netherlands again. No matter that he already was here just after River of Blue Fire was released, he needs to come back to sign my other Otherland books. :)

Hmm, that's gonna give a problem with Shadowmarch... what to have him sign... *ponders* Ah well, every first page of a print-out of every chapter up to the point he comes here will do. there, that should be enough reason to make him come running here quickly. If he waits too long there's simply too much for him to sign.
