Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

The Moonlit Grove of Naughtiness and Quietude!

A place for contemplation and quiet thoughts, for the sharing of moments, both obscure ones and larger-than-life ones.

And since this quietness comes with a certain quixotic...naughtiness, we cannot have a quiet grove without this. There is mischief in nature and I honor the trickster in mythology, after all :)

Be welcome here, there are pirates and highwaymen and an entire dramatis personae of archetypes hidden in the wings.

Also, if one is of a, shall we say philosophical bent, be welcome!

Have a look at the last time anybody posted in there, if you ask me, this place simply replaced it. Lots of residences have drifted away and been replaced by others.

*malicious giggle* Not if I close it, it can't... But this is your place, so you get to decided.

I wanted a place with a specific purpose. Leave that one alive, while I figure out what to do with this one, huh?

There was another, similar sounding room, Gen. Heaven forbid! I deleted mine, of course. But never fear, renovations are underway. Not tonight though. I am tired and I want to work on fiction I can actually sell.

Indeed. Of course, if you need, say, proof readers, you know, I could make some time for it :P *winkwink*

*lol* Gen.

Providing I can finish it. Writing this is proving more emotionally harrowing than I expected.

Okay, I have reinstated the Grove. I went back a few pages and discovered another room with "This Place for Rent". I am jinxed, I tell you, jinxed.

You should name this thread Otherland. Everytime I come here it has changed into something else!
