Also: three years equals 36 months (3x12=36). 36 months divided by 9 (the average pregnancy length) is 4, not 3.8. There were probably no "midgets" involved. You're terrible at math, Ren! And I say that as someone who is terrible at math. :)
I do not disagree that I suck at math...8P

My sister bought my bass from me a year or so ago and is v. slowly teaching herself to play.
I'd love to hear a gorgeous piano version of Enter Sandman.

Re: DOGBLOG: Watershed. (Not Miiru's shed.)
Dang, this trying-to-launch-the-new-blog thing (coupled with the writing-two-books thing) has turned me into a liar. I'm trying and trying to get stuff posted here, but things keep happening. (Even as I type this, Deb wants to have a discussion/argument with me about something, and the children are squealing for me to come out to the living room and deport some harmless flying termites.
Gad.

all you have to do is tame the tiny termites to dezine web pages, discuss things with the wife and entertain the children, and then you will have time to write said materales and waste time on the computor

Re: DOGBLOG: Watershed. (Not Miiru's shed.)
Absent, been to Disney (stop booing at the back), and away making the country's level crossings a little safer.
Missed a whole section on the membership benefits of the pudding club. As Sahi is talking of monkeys, we're having another. Angela's last pregnancy was a nightmare, this one's worse, she's already been hospitalised once with severe dehydration, due to sickness again. That was about 4 weeks ago, things are not too good now but better than they were then.
This will be the last. The end result is fantastic beyond words but 9 months is a very long time to be sick continuously.
See we're still here anyway, I was worried you'd all move when I was away, again.

Congratulations! That's most excellent news, Stuart.
Edited to add: Not that your wife is so sick -- but that there's another little Stuart on the way!

Re: DOGBLOG: Watershed. (Not Miiru's shed.)
Thanks, I'm very excited, but tempered by the abject misery Ange's going through. We've not told Lily, as I expect she'd spontaneously combust on the spot, though she'll soon work it out.

Congrat's on the baby Stuart. I'm sorry to hear about what your wife is going through, though. Did the hospital prescribe any vitamin/mineral supplements? I had the same in my two pregnancies and once I was prescribed Maturna (I think that was the name) the sickness went off a bit.

Congrats on the soon to be little one Stuart! I just hope they find something to help your wife with her sickness. (And find it soon too!)

She's trying all the usual herbs, drinks etc, even wearing those accupressure wristbands and although she'll not admit it I think she's a lot better.

I cannot even comprehend, Stuart. I had very little morning sickness with the first, and none with the second.
Hang in there, Mrs. Stuart!!!! It's worth it (as you well know).
Someday will find you.

Re: DOGBLOG: Watershed. (Not Miiru's shed.)
Thanks, I try to support her as best I can, sometimes I just have to let her be; if I've just had a coffee she says the smell makes her sick, and I couldn't function without any coffee. For the moment Angela seems to be happy ordering maternity clothes, some new, some ebay, some both.

Congrats Stuart. :)
I hope your wife feels better soon. I know what a terrible pregnancy can be like and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I hope she gets lots of rest and lots of support and attention.
