I hope you remember this. It where I'll pick themes for each chapter and someone will have to improvise the next chapter with that theme in mind. Our goal: to have fun and to try and make as much sense out of the plot as possible.
I'll just start with a little prologue to get things started.
Prologue: Lucas Williams
His skin and bedsheets were damp with sweat as he tossed and turned in his sleep. Vivid dreams were a common occurrence for Lucas Williams. At the moment he was deep within a nightmare about the fear of abandonment and the yearning for the truth of his parents.
He had never known his parents, at least not his biological ones. Lucas Williams had been told his father had died shortly before he was born, yet he feared that his father had simply run away from the upcoming responsibility. He had never had real proof that his father was dead, nothing at all about his existence to be more precise.
The story of his birth was even more tragic, for his mother had died in childbirth. Lucas believed that was the truth, but he blamed his father for breaking his mother's heart, making her too weak to live through his birth. Yet, there still wasn't enough proof about her to make him absolutely sure she had died that way.
At that moment within his dreams, a lighting bolt from the storm raging outside his out struck the giant oak tree outside his bedroom window. Lucas Williams was instantly awake and sitting upright, sweating profusely and feeling an aura of illness in the air.
To Be Continued in Chapter One, which will have a slightly influenced Zelda theme. PM me with a general idea of how you would like to approach the next chapter, and in several days, I'll choose the winner. The winner will obviously get to bring his idea to life.
