However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. the mailing list

I've been meaning to ask this for a while, so here it goes:  What happened to the mailing list?  When shadowmarch was still in it's pre-site stage I put my self on the mailing list cause I wanted to know the minute it came out.  when i checked back a month later the site was up but i never got a message about it.  now I'm not complaining but it seems that i was forgotten.

You weren't forgotten, Deornoth.  Nobody was forgotten.  We just didn't do the mailing.  (Yet.)

We couldn't get the mail software working when we were first launching the site.  Now, we're waiting until we have something specific to announce, namely how the subscriptions will work.  We still have a few things to negotiate, but I think that announcement will be going out in a week or two.
