Re: Infinity's
In the high 70's here today - too bad I'm stuck inside.
And no window in my office! :o(

No window for me either ~ 's like a cave in here (used to be a big warehouse that's all converted to office space now...
I hate in the winter coming in when its dark & leaving when its dark & never seeing the sun in between. Thank goodness its light out 'til after 9pm now. Next month it will be around 11pm before darkness sets in ~ not so good for getting the wee ones to bed though.

Re: Infinity's
The sun sets fairly early here because of the mountains. Makes it a bit easier to sleep. :)

Yeah - I remember when I lived in Syracuse, stayed light quite late in the Summer.

Re: Infinity's
Stitches... *shudder*
I've never had any and I'm glad. I'm very squeamish abou tthem if I actually think about them. I can watch medical stuff on tv and see them sorta half showing them doign stitches, or talk about it and I;m fine, but if I actually think about it it creeps me out. Same with broken bones with pins and things in them.. Eek

Where's AJ?
We woke up to another few inches of snow & ice this morning - must've rained & then turned to snow. Not having a good morning so I went to 2nd Cup to get a Maple Latte. Mmmmm I love those.
Work is also very, very bad this morning. Gah. I don't like stress & do lots to avoid it so I hate it when it comes creeping into my cubicle.

Not that I have bits, but if I did. :)
It's sunny today and, thankfully, cooler. Back to normal temps.
I really want these awful stitches out but I have to wait til monday.

Re: Infinity's
Im not sure which flowers to get this year. I usually do up my containers with bunches of stuff. This year I wanna simplify.
Pansies. Petunias. Calibrachoa. Geranium. Sweet William.
Simple, old fashioned plants. Maybe that's all I'll do this year. Oh, and Marigolds. Can't forget those.

Re: Infinity's
I like all of those Jen. I like the old fashioned, simple stuff, too. Maybe a few sunflowers? Just for fun....
I am a little worried that the snow was not good for my delphinium today. The other stuff should be fine, but that one....

Re: Infinity's
The violas I planted last fall turned up again. Pretty little things.
The roses in the backyard are blooming and I see buds on the magnolias, so should smell heavenly here soon.

Re: Infinity's
Wow, we really kept busy on the weekend, didn't we?
Okay, so our Market opening was fun on Saturday and yesterday I finally went out and did the garden work I wanted to do. I bought flowers and planted them and cleaned the patio and we barbequed dinner.
I met the cutest cat at the garden center. It was a half-grown little boy-cat. He came up to see the people wandering about his garden so I petted him. Then I picked him up. Well, he wouldn't let me stop after that. He purred and nuzzled and meowed every time I stopped petting him. I would have happily taken him home. :)

*waves to Jen*
Sounds nice, a market like that... I'm envious! Our weather was cold so we packed up the kids & went to visit grandma & grandpa. Seemed like a good thing to do (and now we can stay home on the weekends when the weather is good).
Soccer starts tonight. *sigh* I don't know if I have the energy for this...

Re: Infinity's
Music library was closed this weekend so I couldn't write my essay which is due today. I'm not having much luck fighting with it today. I'm sick and just want to give up and go to sleep. *burrows into a blanket on the couch*

You should come and visit. No cold, just sun and warmth. Well, and wind. Seems like there's always a breeze in the spring.

Honeysuckle's started blooming here - the smell at night is divine.
And the Magnolias are starting to unfurl. Heaven!

Re: Infinity's
Mmmmmm honeysuckle. I haven't seen any here yet, but I think it's still too chilly to be encouraging honeysuckle yet. Probably in the next month.
