Re: The Quiller's Mint - The Balcony
Oh well, our tour guide convinced us that O-possums were much different from American Possums, and much more exciting to see. As you can tell, I fell for it hook, line, and sinker.

*after being able to talk coherently for a second, Pandy takes more loads of confetti to the face, which, coincedentaly, go well with his motley. Then, a high pressure spray of water takes his knees out, and he is airborne. To be knocked off the balcony with a wiked hit from the tribe. Musta been a hit from Lofton.*

Possums are small furry buggers with big gooey eyes that go BUMP SCREECH SCREECH THUMP SHRIEK SKITTER in the night.

Nothing but a bunch of pollies, eh Shads? How do you stick it?
O-Possums are South American, I believe. Aussie possums are just possums. They are unbelieveably cute until they decide to come and live with you.

Re: The Quiller's Mint - The Balcony
By the way, I have to add that Australia is a very scary place, most killer snakes of anywhere, most killer spiders of anywhere, killer sharks, killer crocs, killer jellyfish, killer birds for pete's sake.
I don't know how any Australians make it to adulthood.
Of course when some friends from Britain visited us in DC for the first time they were convinced they would be shot the moment they entered the city limits, so maybe its kind of the same thing.

See ya Pandy!
Cheryl...eh, it's just like that. It's a totally designed and engineered city...and it is only allowed to get so big too.... It has it's ups 'n downs. More ups than downs in my opinion. Lack of haggis won't kill me...*L*

Re: The Quiller's Mint - The Balcony
Hiya folks,
I just saw the funniest thing. I went for a walk up to my local shop to buy the paper and as I was coming out of the shop a smallish dog was running, yelping and hollering in terror with its tail between its legs from the front yard of the house over the road. An even smaller black, grey and brown fluffy cat was running along behind it hissing the whole way. When the dog reached the end of the driveway and was on the road the cat simply stopped, sat calmy down and licked its two front paws a few times each. Then it stood and casually strode back towards the house. *chuckle*
Go Cat!!
I walked the rest of the way home with a big grin firmly planted across my face. :)

Don't believe it! Platypi are the worst of them all. They're depraved, savage beasts, and will stop at nothing, you here me, nothing!
