Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

That felt a lot like our last siege of Jerusalem. Me banging against the closed gate all the time. Good it is open again.

Hooray!

As much as I lurked on the Guthwulf boards, I really couldn't bring myself to post that much. ::shrug::

I lost about... 200 posts maybe?  I don't really care, though... it's just good to have the board back.

That`s nothing. I lost four thousand. Can we now have a compy over who took the greatest fall since Holmes and Moriarty went over the Reichenbach falls??

Re: Boards Back Up

just a weird idea for people missing their lost posts:

you could visit Peterīs archive and copy nīpaste the lost archived-posts as long as they are available, and transfer them here...

ahm...doesnīt really make sense, does it?

Re: Boards Back Up

hmm...

only a few day up, and the boards are back with a roar, at least regarding the board traffic. thatīs how it should be! just to compare it to the situation last year, before the iceberg...

[conspiracy mode]hah, maybe this was all just a clever trick, to get the lurkers back[/conspiracy mode]

Just very glad Smarch is back up.

Re: Boards Back Up

I think I lost around 600 posts. What's scary is realizing how much I started posting within just a couple of months. Can't hang around much, but I'm just so glad this board is back up.

Not realistic in my case since most were horoscopes and the whole point of doing those is to predict the future. It`s a bit like used loo paper. Don`t go there ;)

Re: Boards Back Up

Oh wow! I wasn't sure Smarch would ever be back *snifs* but I'm glad it is. I guess Matt's nefarious scheme worked;  it got one post out of this notorious lurker...
