Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'

Perectly Imperfect

I had to hold the camera in one hand and the torch (see:flashlight for those silly americans amongst you :P) in the other. It was rather awkward.

*blows the dust off the cutting table*

I've been playing around with high key images today and came up with this shot.

I took that one at a friends wedding a while ago but I really like how it turned out today.

I've been doing a bit of photomanipulation since I got my graphics tablet. Yesterday I did this reasonably cool flaming skull of which I am quite proud. :D

I took this one of an old shack not far from my mum and dad's house today. Turned out reasonably well.

Re: Through the Looking Glass - All Things Photography

Here are some photos from the Naga Fireball Festival at Nong Khai and Phon Phisai in Thailand. If you are ever in Thailand around the time of the full moon in October, then you must go here. Its amazing, the festival is amazing, the atmosphere is amazing.

Peace!

And finally I remembered to bring my camera to the wolf trust... here are some pics that I took yesterday... Not great, as they are made through the fence... but it's such a lovely bunch!!

Re: Through the Looking Glass - All Things Photography

I sorted through my pictures from the London trip yesterday - ended up deleting about two thirds (mostly plant tags from Kew Gardens).

Anyway, here are my pictures from the wolf trust. Not nearly as good as Libra's, of course, and the fences are only partially to blame for that.

Re: Through the Looking Glass - All Things Photography

I'll try to put up my pictures from my holiday in the UK soon. Despite having some trouble with my catcam (the batteries I think), I still got tons of pictures.

Re: Through the Looking Glass - All Things Photography

Here's some of the pictures I took with my catcam along Hadrian's wall (what was left of it)

I didn't get any pictures of some of the most beautiful parts, as my camera didn't really want to cooperate. Anyway, this is a compilation of the best pictures.
