Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

DOGBLOG: Watershed. (Not Miiru's shed.)

Because the Doghicans were getting restless, and the walls were beginning to creak, and we're out of beer for Reg, and I won't have it said we broke the internet while Tad wasn't looking.

Tad, feel free to edit/move/delete/leave alone as you will. :)

Re: DOGBLOG: Watershed. (Not Miiru's shed.)

Ah, shed, a special place for men of a certain age, almost a sanctuary.  Somewhere to hide contraband, somewhere to invent, a place of creation for prohibited good later to imbibe.

A haven for sad toys and abandoned tools, a... what the...who the dickens...

..this shed is full of people, all sorts of people, some with suspiciously female looking names.  This is clearly a complex shed, it is built on many levels, shed tiers, as Em just has.

If it makes you feel any better, Stuart, I've been accused before of suspicious levels of guy-ness, so your illicit activites are probably safe.

I'll probably -help-.

Like Wiked, I have been accused of a lot of things ... which are all true. *nods* Yep. Everyone of them. And there's pictures floating around Lucas Films to prove it.

I'm so proud.

Re: DOGBLOG: Watershed. (Not Miiru's shed.)

Ah.  So now I have two sheds.  I will have to name myself Tad "Two Sheds" Williams.

I am in Dubrovnik and it's after midnight.  In four hours or so I have to leave for the airport.  Three flights to get home, and then I will probably have to sleep for a week or so.  Dogs will have to be scraped off the bed so I can lie down.

But I will have many stories to tell.

I miss my messy desk.

Be good.  See you all soon, virtually or otherwise...

Two sheds are better than one?

God, that was bad, even for me. I'm sorry.

Safe travels, y'r Dogliness, and an excellent nap 'pon returning home.
