Re: Cookie Monster Time -- What's Your Favorite Cookie

Haha

Whoever came up with Cookie Monster was/is a genius.

Recently I've made a few batches of "chocolate chip" cookies but I used chocolate chips and peanut butter chips.  Or chocolate and butterscotch.  Or skor bits and wahtever chips.  Or all of the above. lol  I have to say they were all really good.  Although I think my favourite were the chocolate/peanut butter chip combination.

Snickerdoodles. Not only are they good and cinnamony (sp?), but I love the name.

I don't really have any favourite cookies... though gingerbread wit looooots of icing is veeeeery yummy. And at school, I practically lived off chocolate chip cookies.

Re: Cookie Monster Time -- What's Your Favorite Cookie

actually, I lied, I don't have one of those either...hehe

Although I did always like a good break-your-teeth gingernut.  Unforunately, now I'm stuck with Arnotts, and they're just not as good as the Griffins ones, so I don't like them as much any more.
I also used to be very fond of Griffin's krispie biscuits, which I've also had to go without for the last 15 years....

Chewy-caramel Tim Tams are my current staple biscuit
The only trouble is, a packet never really lasts more than one or two cups of tea...it's terrible.

Re: Cookie Monster Time -- What's Your Favorite Cookie

i love Cookie Monster... he was on my "Wall of Husbands" when i was in college (along with Mike Richter, former goalie from the NY Rangers lol).

and i'm with Flupi, this thread makes me want cookies lol.

a good chocolate chipper will do when digestives are not available... or Oreos... real ones, and not Double-Stuf.  in fact, i could deal with it if they made Half-Stuf... or Un-Stuf.

Nabisco, back in the day, used to make Chocolate Snaps, and those were the best things ever.  i liked the little boxes with the animal face drawn onto the cookie.

Walter, put the cow away, would you?!

Have a gander at the jewelry I've been making...

What do you do with the two empty halves, Goofy?

You eat them first of course.  There will be no wasting of good cookies.

I know, but we need a non interested party to confirm it.  That way it's official.

Re: Cookie Monster Time -- What's Your Favorite Cookie

Well since we don't HAVE TimTams, I'll simply have to make do with Oreos in stead. I ate them plain by the way. I'm not going to ruin perfectly good chocolate with milk.
