Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

Actually you need to go to Belgium for chocolate.

Re: DOGBLOG: Last of the Doghicans

Belgium is the place, I've researched this extensively, though truly it is a matter of taste.  Lily would not agree, she found a box of Belgian chocolates and tried every single one; in her mouth, spat on her front or the floor/sofa.  I returned to total carnage, and a little voice saying "don't like them".

This blog is getting a bit full.

Isn't that a minor heresy?

She is a minor at 3, which would explain the dislike of the liqueur centres, but the irresistable urge to try the next one because it's chocolate.  Other than wasting a pound box of chocs brought back from Belgium specifically for us, the mess she was in was quite funny, and it only took an hour to clean the floor and sofa.

I did eat quite a lot of them, she'd only bitten them and I'm quite used to eating pre-masticated food from my daughter.

Yea, okay. I wouldn't have but I must have one-up syndrome...

Re: DOGBLOG: Last of the Doghicans

And yet, you'd keep trying them, spitting them up on the couch and floor. Stuart would come in, and you'd say "I don't like 'em."

Belatedly... no, not Miiru's shed, whatever its proper name.

I was thinking the Watershed Thread, however, might not be inappropriate. *g*

Re: DOGBLOG: Last of the Doghicans

I usually find it quite difficult to sneak in a sheep, they're not very roomy and tend to notice however carefully you tread.

Right! I made a new topic; am closing this one down before we bring down the Wrath of Reg.

Shall I call in a collie to herd the sheep over thataway?
