Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

Completely irrelevant but I was out last night watching the stars and saw the International Space Station being chased across the sky by the Shuttle, and I've just watched them dock on live Nasa TV, how cool is that!

Re: DOGBLOG: Last of the Doghicans

I love the NASA channel.  When the space shuttle is up and it is getting near time for it to land.  I watch all the time.  I live close to Edwards, so it is a chance to see if it will land here.  The last time it landed it came in the wrong way so did not get to see it.  But when it landed at night it flew right over my house, that was very cool!!!!!!!!!!

Re: DOGBLOG: Last of the Doghicans

Haven't died.  Honestly.  I had to write an introduction on a deadline for a re-release of Gormenghast, and that, combined with visitors from England, has kept me from doing even the most routine correspondence and online visiting.  Please forgive.  I'll fix it soon, or die trying!

Well, that might be a little dramatic, not to mention permanent.  Or get a nasty cold trying?  Stub my toe painfully trying?  I'll think of something.

Re: DOGBLOG: Last of the Doghicans

The most appropriate way to make it up to us for leaving us alone (again) would be to spend lots and lots of time on-line talking to us. Bedtime stories in the Mint, perhaps?

*nod nod*

P.S.: Remember what happens if we're left alone for too long? DISCLAIMER: We are not responsible for what will happen for lack of supervision.

1) We know what lengths he won't go to in order to keep us happy--(he won't die for us)

2) That's obviously because he has something against the undead.

Re: DOGBLOG: Last of the Doghicans

What do you call someone who discriminates against the dead. Or undead even. They can't be racist. Lifeist? Deathist? A priest?

Hmmmm.  Ponderance required.

Vitalist?

Bio-chauvinist?

Anyway, I'm still being horrid about posting because I'm still up to my eyeballs, including of course the new site design stuff.  Don't give up on me.  I swear you'll see me regularly again.  I swear.

(Well, not in front of the kids.)
