I loved GoF to, but TOOTP was even more enthralling - I read it in a 48 hour period.
Thanks everyone for the kittie thoughts again. She home now and keeping us busy :)
Actually, I don't own any of the books... A situation I hope to rectify. Originally I borrowed them from people to read them, and this time around I've been getting them from the library.
I actually can't really remember Order of the Phoenix. I couldn't remember any of them aside from a few vague details. My memory of books is really quite terrible. So it's like reading a whole new book right now! It's very exciting. :)

Re: Infinity's
What a weird day. Very drawn out and long and filled with a whole lot of nothing for the most part. Feel rather quiet. But wish I had someone around too. But not to talk to or anything. Maybe watch a movie. I dunno. It's weird.
I also battled an army of spiders today. *shudder* There are tons in my house right now. :( There were lots around when I cleaned the bunny cage today. I cracked the handle of the dustpan using it to defend myself from spiders. icky icky icky.

Urgm.. I have a sudden desire to wash the car, but we have no car soap. This is very frustrating.. Do I *have* to use car soap, or can I use something else without killing the car?

Spiders are evil and yucky and gross. I was extremely brave and put up with them for a couple weeks now, but when I find them crawling on me in the bathroom and can't touch anything in the bunny room without a spider running away I can not stand it any more. If any spiders want to not be killed they should evacuate my house immediately. They are perfectly welcome on the outside as long as they do not build webs on or across or in front of things I need to use.

*fans face* owowowowowow
I just put cream on my fairly sunburned face because I was starting to feel the burn and now my face is all tingly weird from the cream. It has a lot of menthol in it I htink because the fumes from it are making my eyes feel weird.

Re: Infinity's
*waves at Flupi* Sunburns are no good... got one myself, since we desided to take a hike, exactly on the hottest day of the year.
I used plenty of sun lotion, but sweated it away while walking and I had left it at home... gah...
I managed to keep it in check though. Applied lots of sun lotion to keep it moist and so far it doesn't hurt, so I'm happy ;)
Had a nice vacation otherwise. No spiders and stuff ;)

Re: Infinity's
So I'm going to throw this new theory floating about at you fine people. Since JKR says we need to be thinking, why did Voldemort survive, not why did Harry.. oh wait, has everyone read GOF? .. well, the theory is this, that they are interconnected and you can't kill Voldemort unless Harry dies. She's also already told us that someone major is going to die in book 7. AAAAAAAAaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggggghhh! She wouldn't dare, would she?

If I were her, I would. :) But that's cuz I have a tendancy to kill characters. Often. Brutally. So sad.

Well, we'd make a good pair, then! :) I seem to have mostly avoided sun stroke at least. My face is a bit sore if I try to scratch an itch but it's otherwise ok. I look like a freak, but oh well. ;)
Small Harry Potter spoiler warning, just in case. I think I may be mentioning something to do with book 5. :)
@sher - See, I was thinking along similar lines to that. Because you-know-who (hehe) said the thing about making preparations to avoid dying. But then if that was what he did, why would he then try to kill Harry? But I think it must be something like that. Some part of what kept Harry alive must have transfered to Voldemort just like some of voldemort's power transfered to Harry. Or soemthing. I dunno. It's all very interesting to ponder. :)

My friend thinks HP won't survive the series either.... but didn't jk say that she wouldn't kill him off?
I prefer to think up my own happy endings for HP & co.
@Jen - are you guys getting this cold spell, too? It was like 8 degrees here today - we came home from Edmonton last night & built a fire in the woodstove. It was kind of nice.

Yeah, it's been cool, comparatively. It's gone from the mid thirties to the high teens. With wind and rain! Wooo! I'm all ready to enter autumn. I can't wait to see snow on the mountains again.

The quotes from JK Rowling I've seen all have her refusing to say anything about whether Harry will live or not. It's sort of worrisome...

Re: Infinity's
Harry Potter to survive to book No. 7 ~ But author Rowling won't say if wizard survives to adulthood Author J.K. Rowling encouraged Harry Potter fans to try to piece together future plots for themselves, and urged them to focus on why Harry’s nemesis, the evil warlock Voldemort, had not been killed.
- “Harry Potter” novelist J.K. Rowling says her young hero will survive to the seventh book in her series about the young wizard, but refused to say whether he would reach adulthood

Re: Infinity's
Oh, and it's been quite chilly at night here lately! The last couple evenings I could have used a jacket when I was out after dark, and I kept wakign up freezing in the mornings (My window is wide open) and last night it was cold when I went to bed so I actually used my comforter on my bed!
I was going to check on the weather network page what it got down to last night but they seem to take a break between 11pm and 6am. But it was 9 degrees at 11 last night and 8 at 6 this morning.

Fall does seem to be getting here early, doesn't it?
C'mon. I just wanted 1 1/2 more weeks of summer! Was that too much to ask??
I need to get new fall clothes. I'm not ready yet. I have a summer outfit to wear to the BBQ at Linda's house on friday. What am I gonna do now??
*pouts*
On the plus side, though, we're selling lots of winter jackets already.... :)
