Re: Max's Mansion of Moods
I had a cool adventure last night. Walking the streets at 1:30 AM, I came to a church. Before the church was a courtyard with a well kept garden sancuary. There were statues of Mary and other people I don't recognize, benches, and flowing water. There was no traffic out, so silence was everywhere. I sat and meditated for a good 20 minutes until life came back to smack me in the face.

Re: Max's Mansion of Moods
Got so bored that I woke up this morning and took the bus to the city. Now I'm in the SF Public Library. This place is unbelievably, unneccessarily enormous.
I wish I had something to do, here, and somewhere to go. Woe again.
Car. Need.

Re: Max's Mansion of Moods
Max take this from someone who has been there. It seems like the world will end and that you can not go on with out this person, but in a few years if you are not back together you will wonder how you even felt like that.
Before I met my husband I dated a guy for 4 years, we even lived together. When he broke up with me I quit school (not a good idea), because I thought that I could not go on without him. My life was over and the typical stuff like that. He ended up dating then marrying a friend of mine. After a few months of feeling sorry for myself, I snapped out of it and realized that he was not worth it. He was a controlling jerk, that did not like me having guy friends.
I hope things work out for you. It might not seem too bright now, but it will get better.
If you are ment to be with this girl you will work things out.
Adds hugs and good wishes!

I just hope that one day the sun will find you and shine on you forever like it does on me. (Metaphorically of course)

Re: Max's Mansion of Moods
At least when I was going through it I had a lot of friends to lean on. They really helped me through it. You always have your friends here!!!!!!!
At the time I did not have much money either and did not have a place to live, I had to move in with a friend.
Your friends might suprise you I am sure they appreciate you and are there for you even if it seems to you that they are not.
There is nothing wrong with having feelings for a person, but it does suck if they do not have the same feelings. You never know she might feel the same way you do?!

I think we're okay for now. I'll try to refrain from being the center of attention because of petty drama, now. Even in my own mansion.

Re: Max's Mansion of Moods
You will breathe again... it just takes time. And maybe it will be without this person, or with them. Relationships can survive infidelity but it takes a lot of maturity, time, energy, and love.
But maybe this one won't survive. I certainly don't know, but you do, or you will once you get over the initial blinding pain of the knife in your heart.
I've been through this before. I and others on the board have been through many of the things you are facing right now. And we are still here. These things are survivable. There are folks here you can rely on for some support - but you need to connect with the people around you. Most of us are too far away to truly lend a shoulder to rest on. I agree with goofytortuga - your friends may surprise you.

max, you didn't cause her to cheat on you: she had a choice and she made it. unfortunately it's a choice that hurt you. *hugs*

*gives Max a big hug*
I can't believe that you can force someone to cheat on you, just because you're afraid of it. And I DO understand the need to know exactly what happened. I'd feel the same. I hope you two can get over this. *sends more of her luck his way*

Re: Max's Mansion of Moods
Max I hope that you are feeling better.
You can not make her do what she is not willing to do. It will only make her resent you and make her do things that might hurt you in the long run. And your feelings are very important.
I understand the whole not feeling like a man because you do not have a job, but you have to stop being so hard on yourself. You are only human and can only do so much. Aren't you going to school? Working and going to school is hard and the whole starving student is not just a saying. ;)
Leaves another hug and well wishes for much better life(no more bad stuff for Max)
