Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

Re: the Monday Morning Kuaterback Klub,

wiked, you got robbed!  that puck was in for sure!  you could tell by lundqvist's body language.

if they're going to "review" EVERY goal (or non goal) then they need mcuh better equipment than what they use.  interior side cameras would have shown conclusively that briere had tied the game.

and speaking of Karma, who is one of the biggest Doners to the spinal research center that developed the treatment that probably ensured he would walk again?

Re: the Monday Morning Kuaterback Klub,

I have to say that even though I don't have strong feelings for the Patriots or the Giants that game rocked!    Best Superbowl game I have seen in years.  Held my breath all the way to the end.

Re: the Monday Morning Kuaterback Klub,

the only thing that could make this sweeter is if the patriots are also stripped of their title over the rams after the commissioner investigates these new cheating accusations.

Re: the Monday Morning Kuaterback Klub,

That was a ROCKIN' game! AND the Giants won, by the skin of their teeth...such a good game. I love it when the Superbowl is a rip snorter, on-the-edge-of-your-seat game even if it's not my team playing. The only thing I'm really regretting is that I didn't bet on the game: I had one of my gut feelings that the Giants would win by 3 and I shoulda followed it. Dammit Jim! I coulda made a buttload of cash!

Re: the Monday Morning Kuaterback Klub,

Bumping this 'cuz it needs to be bumped.  Week 1 is over.  Chad Ocho Cinco takes the field for the first time, Tom Brady goes down but the Pats win anyway, Vince Young gets booed off the field, Colts lose to the Bears, and the Lions lose to the surprise of no one.

Over here in Seahawk Land, I am in a depressive funk after the Hawks lose to the Bills big time.  That's what you get when pretty much all the WRs are out on injury.  Well, Buffalo, we'll see who's laughing after your team gets sent off to Toronto! >:(  (Curious, that. If the Bills do indeed move to Canada, then the actual State of New York will be left with zero professional teams... 'cuz the Giants and Jets play in New Jersey.)

Re: the Monday Morning Kuaterback Klub,

More bumpity

Wiked, your Bills are doing great - 3-0! Whoo hoo! I'm watching Football Night in America due to my Keith Olbermann addiction, and he and Dan Patrick just covered the highlights from the Raiders/Bills game, and I thought of you and this place.

My Steelers are doing okay, and since Brady got knocked out of the running, look to have a better chance at the playoffs than before. As long as Big Ben can stay healthy...

Re: the Monday Morning Kuaterback Klub,

well, they're 2-1 now thanks to the Eagles.

My Broncos are 3-0... but barely.  one of these days the fact that we play both sides of the ball with our offense might catch up to us.

and way to go Wiked.  except with the teams you've played, your 3-0 is more like 1.5-0.

I wasn't able to see the game, so I washed my car instead and then caught up with the FNIA guys. Bleh on losing to the Iggles!
