Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

Re: Mooey's Bouncy Castle

a fiery lavender blur, coming from the direction of Infinity's, streaks into the Castle

::ricochets, giggling, off the walls and floor with enough force to rock the Castle back and forth::

::exasperant, collapses somewhere near the door::

::rolls out the egress and lands face-down in the mud::

::giggles some more::

Re: Mooey's Bouncy Castle

not snowing.  our nor'easter is just heavy rain, the kind that absolutely soaks you on your trip between the house and the car... kinda like a hurricane without the wind.

Re: Mooey's Bouncy Castle

i'm about three hours south of there and nowhere near the lakes... makes a big difference.

if we get snow, i think i'm gonna cry.  it's bad enough the rain kept me inside most of the day; i'd like to go out tomorrow, thanks.

Re: Mooey's Bouncy Castle

the creek is up to the bridges in several parts of the area.  i didn't get to go look at it until after dark, but it's quite impressive.  if i can get pics in the morning, i'll post them.

::Flies through an open window and lands ontop of a bookcase.  Adjusting his spectacles and says....

Just thought I would fly in and peruse the castle.  Mingling I think the yuppies call it.  But be forewarned.....If any one or anything bounces too close to me....I will turn them into a piss ant. :) Just kidding.  Though a toad would be tasty right about now....

Re: Mooey's Bouncy Castle

Mooey, it is! *bouncy huggles*

Yum. Daiquiris. Always remind me of the bartender joke:

A doctor made it his regular habit to stop off at a bar for a hazelnut daiquiri on his way home. One afternoon, as the end of the workday approached, the bartender was dismayed to find he was out of hazelnut extract. Thinking quickly, he threw together a daiquiri made with hickory nuts and set it on the bar. The doctor came in at his regular time, took one sip of the drink and exclaimed, "This isn't a hazelnut daiquiri!" "No, I'm sorry," replied the bartender, "it's a hickory daiquiri, doc."

Someday will find you.
