Hi! What is everyone esle doing today? I'm playing with making banners and fun stuff. And of course I'm here. Any idea what this site is about anyways? I just sorta showed up and started posting stuff.

I wonder what the 'promotions to higher ranks' are going to involve.

Ah, yes. Nothing. How I envy you! I guess I could do nothing as well, but then it wouldn't look like I was doing something. Any ideas for a web site to throw together? I make them for fun, so I have a new one every week. Maybe I should make a Shadowmarch fan site? Nah... That would take away from this place.

Right now I'm drawing maps and spitting out the odd piece of writing. Also adding to the glossary-index for my master project, which won't be ready for years - thirty plus A4 pages so far, and I don't know how many entries. No idea how many more to come. It's just growing on its own. It's not creation as such, but exploration. Very rough work has been started on the languages. It's big. It's very big. And it owes virtually nothing to Europe.

It's no good, I tell you. Middle-earth will have to go. :-)

Also working on a website for my work. This won't be launched for a while. I'm finishing up some short stories and articles for magazines. Led Zeppelin are singing Knocking on Heaven's Door in the background. I'm gonna turn in soon. I was out all day yesterday and I'm shattered.

Has anyone noticed that I can't spell necessary? I just looked it up in order to write it here. Maybe it will stick this time. I spell it differently every time. It's one of those words I can never remember how to spell.

Huh. Looks like the cat has acquired a pet for itself. Cats like to own humans. Makes them feel good about themselves.

But then my spelling has never been wonderful.  Especially when cold fingers come into it.

In contrast I can't quite feel all of my fingers.  Th' top layers anyway.

Heh...I know my puter can't handle th' heat...last summer it was over heating so badly it tended to give general protection faults when it wasn't doing anything.
And then spontaneously reboot.
