Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

My shopping trip was successful yesterday. Got two new jeans, a jacket, boots, a knitted dress, a scarf and a couple of shirts. I am content with it. :)

We went out to shop on Thursday and Friday and I bought new shoes, a pair of trousers, 2 t-shirts, a pair of home pants (long jogging pants like stuff), a scarf, 2 pairs of good socks and a cardigan.

And if not, you can always get him some generic useless gift. Something weird or funny that you yourself would have liked to have gotten. (Who knows, maybe he'll trade you for whatever it is that you get!)

My plan is to get something merchandise related. I don't know so much about him. I have befriended him on my PS4, so I can see the games he is playing. I know he likes Star Wars and Metal Gear Solid. And I know he is interested in cars and bodybuilding. But that is it. Ah well, there is still some time left.

So. I'm back. Kind of.
Not that I was gone.
Just busy.

Visitors are awesome, but they don't go well with Smarching and internetting in general :)

Looks like we were both successful, thanks to the help of our patient advisors. :)

I hope the mini-moot adventures were fun so far?

Re: QM - The Haunted Mint

The mini moot was fun :)
Too tired to write a mini report though.

Or at least too lazy :p

Re: QM - The Haunted Mint

That is a pity. You write such entertaining reports. ;)

Anyway, welcome back! :)

Re: QM - The Haunted Mint

Oof. What a day! Busy busy, got more stuff piled on at w*rk (thanks peeps who can't communicate). Also lunch was particularly rowdy! Coworker was talking about "fingering the bread" and it all sorta went downhill from there... Poor other girl. I don't think she found it nearly as funny as I did. I think she might have been a bit scarred...

Also, I hate to point out the obvious, but somebody's gotta make a new Mint here pretty soon.
