Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

QM - Episode 4: A New Home

We couldn't fit any Stardestroyers, but in the background you can see 2 R2 units building a new home for Libra! And another 5 shooing away C3 units to avoid catastrophic damage to the building. Because these aren't the druids you are looking for when building things.

I am afraid the fine details are lost on me, but I'm happy if it does the job and you get to finish your masterpiece :)

Re: QM - Episode 4: A New Home

It does.

Spent the afternoon cycling. About 22km all in all (according to Google). We stopped at the home improvement store, as I still have to figure out how to put up the dress doll I intend to make, and we looked at ways to hang hand rails and curtains. And then we had another stop for a drink and a third stop for groceries.

*snortgiggles about the mint*

That nearly went in as "snotgiggles".... I'm quite sure nobody wants to see that....

I'm at work but very much not in the mood for actual work, so I'll be lurking....

It's warm and sunny and pretty outside and I just don't want to be inside anymore...

Re: QM - Episode 4: A New Home

Second sleeve is now done. Before I put on the button bands, I'm getting rid of all the loose bits of thread on the sleeves. That's always the nastiest but of a project like this.

Re: QM - Episode 4: A New Home

Hey Peter, I just saw on FB via mutual friends that Pat said his post was deleted by admins. That's weird. I hope that's not the case, or if it was, it was an accident and someone can reach out to him to apologize...

Re: QM - Episode 4: A New Home

In other news: I'm freeeeeeee! Until next Thursday :) I predict reading, writing, and hookahing will occur. And bbq at some point. Oh, and I gotta make more bread, I'm almost out. I think I'm going to try dividing the dough, and make 1 smaller loaf and some rolls, to see if how they come out. I mean, it's a basic Italian bread recipe, it should be fine, but I'm not sure what size ball of dough to use to get the size roll I want.

Great, Libra!

Deleted by an admin? That's odd. The only posts I delete are of the users I ban...

That is super weird. I did not think the post was offensive and it was in the appropriate topic.

Should we post in the Mantid section, or are you figuring it out already? I think this is pretty important. Would look like censoring bad reviews.

Didn't eat much candy today, so now I'm ravenously hungry. Almost time for dinner!
