Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

When you are completely and utterly done, I'm happy to help out with formatting. I am using Libre Office 5.2.6.2, if you are using anything else, it might not be a good idea if I edit anything...

Most of it is probably me being a hopeless perfectionist, but I think a few points are truly relevant.

I'll need to look at it more closely when I'm done with my plans. Probably tomorrow morning.

Now keep your fingers crossed that I don't mess up this latest plan now...

Re: QM - The Confetti Palace

Also, if we're talking about perfectionism - guess who just re-drew the 3D view of the whole thing because the fence at the front wasn't quite paralell with the greenhouse?

... and this time I messed up the roof of the shop, and now it looks lopsided...

I don't know.... the Ghost Hug card was more disturbing... whoever thinks that would be appropriate to send to someone,.. well... I don't know, but they would not be right....

Found three okay cards.... so bought them.... gah... horrible cards the rest.... nasty....

Yeah I do agree he's cute, but not really appropriate to send to someone who's just lost someone...

More like a card to use to, well... send someone a ghost hug, just because....

It's not the card I don't like, but silly amazon that brings up this card as one of the first when searching for condolence cards....

Hunting for a good condolence card is just next to impossible. Either the poem inside is too sappy, or the cover has too many flowers, or the card is too religious, or there's a goofy ghost character on the cover, or something else makes it completely inappropriate. Glad you found a few that would be appropriate, Libra! It's just so hard to find appropriate ones.
