Awesome bread, Kia!

*is impressed*

So I just spent 2 1/2 hours wrapping while watching Noah/Meyers/Maher/Black vids on you tube.

Worse things to be done ... now Daughter1.1 is roasting chestnuts ... mmmhhh ... love the smell ... and Azrael of course already did his Godzilla routine as soon as the crib was set up ...

I admit most of my puns are at best half-baked.

Re: QM - Winter solstice

It seems all of you are making great progress with your preparations. I shall wrap the gifts tomorrow, when my shoulder is hopefully a little better. It's already much improved with the painkillers and the rest it got in the afternoon and evening.

For now I am just watching the remaining Firefly episodes after I watched the new episode of GT.

Angel-Jiriki seems much more helpful than Azreal, Son of Godzillla, but I guess that's not much of a surprise, given the names :D

If you'd left out the "pretty", it would have worked perfectly with my half baked pun :D
But now I've run all out of puns. Maybe there are pre-baked puns, I'd just need to pull out of the freezer and put them in the oven for a bit?

Happy 12012 posts, Ylvs!

Re: QM - Winter solstice

Hit an embarrassing scene in Firefly, so I guess I'm going to bed :D

(Embarrassingly, I always try to spell that word with one r)

Which scene*

In a smarchly coincidence I just watched Ariel with Daughter1.1. Nothing embarrassing in that one.

Made cookies. Not too many, and some easy ones at that. I have to make cupcakes in the morning...

We're having pizza and wings for lunch tomorrow at friend of the family's house. Then to in-laws house for dinner and presents.

Re: QM - Winter solstice

Important question!

Should I wear my penguin sweater or my moose sweater tomorrow?

Re: QM - Winter solstice

Ooh, tough choice!

In other news, I had an awesome Christmas party with my friends. I helped my friend cook (and clean the house some more). Then around six the two others showed up. We ate the food (where I found out that I love the seitan vega-turkey), geen player a game of dixit. Then we looked at the clock and it was eight. I decided to stay a little longer. We played on the Wii for a bit and suddenly it was ten thirty!

Up early now, as I couldn't sleep anymore. And I'd set the alarm for seven, so we could hopefully best the Christmas grocery shopping rush for our last groceries. So I didn't feel like asking up groggy because I feel asleep just before the alarm went off.

I was actually dreaming about a Smarch moot at magpies place where we discussed the shinies-costumes. Figured I might as well start that in real life. So let's head over to the blue tailor and plan a Skype moot!

Re: QM - Winter solstice

This week, my mom broke her arm, and I am staying at her house nursing her as best as possible, and also doing the handyman thing. She tripped on a patient's cat and fell off a porch.

MH, you're in my thoughts this week. So sorry about your accident.
