Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

*waves* Not much luck with public transport today... oh well, games were played, fun was had, and I got home safely in the end.

Sounds like you got home safely, but not quickly?

But games sound good :)

Re: QM - Digital Ghosts

Seriously? I don't need to get sick again.

Let's just hope it was just something I ate...
(Well, that one bit of salad did taste a little off, like it wasn't corn salad. Which is strange, you'd think I'd have noticed that either when I harvested it, or best friend would have when she washed it, but it's possible something else snuck in. In which case, I guess, I'm lucky if it just makes me sick.)

The regular gamesday is once every two weeks. I can't always make it, alas.

Thanks, so do I. Urgh.
Can I have my cold back instead? That was more fun.

Re: QM - Digital Ghosts

Once again didn't get around to doing the stuff I had planned. But I will take my bucket and go to bed now.

Re: QM - Digital Ghosts

Feel better, Magpie!

In semi-related stuff... I apparently have a paranoia of bugs on the ceiling. This really only developed after I discovered a centipede on the bedroom ceiling...... once I was in bed. This was a year or two ago now, but recently I've been seeing shadows out of the corner of my eye, thinking they're bugs on the ceiling. I'm not sure why it's been especially strong recently.

*sigh*

I'm trying to get myself to admit that I really need to go to the dentist... have been having this abcess type thing on and off above my furthest molar... it drains itself regularly, but as soon as I eat something it comes back again...
My dentist phobia is against me though...

Re: QM - Digital Ghosts

That doesn't sound pleasant, Libra. I hope you can prod and poke yourself to go to the dentist and get it fixed :( .

I'll be trying...

In other news... I soooo love watching films with Jackie Chan... especially the stunts... and the bit after the film where you can see the stunts when they go wrong....

The trick is to just keep making horrible jokes. One or two will eventually ascend. :)

Re: QM - Digital Ghosts

Not feeling tired any more, but still sort of wobbly and tired and headachy, so I'm staying home again.

At least I can drink more than tiny sips again without throwing them right back up. Should probably try eating something too.

Get yourself to a dentist stat!

I had that happen, not with a molar but with a front tooth, and I hesitated at first, but thankfully took myself in after the second time it drained. Turns out this usually happens when the root dies, and you'll most likely need a root canal. If you get in early enough, they might be able to save the tooth, otherwise they'll have to pull it.

Best of luck :)

See Blue & Green, the Mint is like a Skype group-chat. In slow motion. With slightly longer posts.
It is message board abuse.
We love it.
