Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

Okay here a little video that is great for those that didn't go to get an idea of what it was like and for those that did go a nice way to remember... also in the first dance bit, you could (if you're fast or pause) discern some of us in the jig!!

Cool movie, I saw us, but I doubt those who have not seen or costumes will be able to recognize us.

Re: Castlefest 2017

Thank you so much for the pictures, Libra!

It's lovely to see all the Smarchers and their costumes :)
Wouldn't want to mess with redNat and Cyan, they look suitably evil!

Hahahaha.... yeah I did, Sahi!! And Peter you're very welcome.... I found some pictures online, will post those soon!

I have also half decided about my costume for next year, if anyone's going... I'm thinking about the junk lady from Labyrinth.... not sure yet how I'll manage it, but it must be possible if I start preparing now!

Re: Castlefest 2017

That would be awesome. I think the clothes shouldn't be too hard, but the junk will be a challenge.

My gosh, those are all very lovely costumes!

I recognize Utuk'ku and a purple witch, but what are the other costumes? And those blue dragons are amazing!

I'm thinking to use foam for that and the it all to an old backpack... Definitely doing this... If I start now I should be able to finish it and have someone with a car transport it to NL...

Labyrinth costumes anyone else??

Re: Castlefest 2017

There's only three days, and I already have too many costumes... (That's why I now have the wicked tribe and the shinies costume that I can keep extending every year)
