OTHERLAND in e-book format

Deb tweeted yesterday:

From DAW/Penguin - "OTHERLAND books 1 & 2 have just been converted and will be available in a few weeks... "

Volumes 3 and 4 are already available as e-books.

Will post links and updated info as soon as I know more!

Re: OTHERLAND in e-book format

Kindle edition of all 4 volumes were available this morning on Amazon.  Just ordered them all!  This is one of my favorite series and I am so glad I no longer have to tote around the huge books everytime I want to read it.

Excellent news! Thanks for posting it, Taxed. DAW moved a lot faster than I expected, all for the good!

Re: OTHERLAND in e-book format

Grand!  That'll make re-reading Otherland at some point a lot easier - reading mighty slabs of dead tree whilst standing in somebody else's armpit on a crowded commuter train is hard.

A kindle is still non-trivial, but it's easier than my Otherland hardbacks and less weight to lug about, too.

Re: OTHERLAND in e-book format

Score! Now I don't have to worry about trying to get those particular books from my dad's house, I can have them in e-format!

Re: OTHERLAND in e-book format

Is Otherland still available on kindle? I've tried to buy it but it's saying not available, just wondering if it's because it's not for sale any more or if it's because I don't live in the US?

Re: OTHERLAND in e-book format

Where are you exactly?

There are copyright restrictions, so the e-books might not be available in all territories.

Re: OTHERLAND in e-book format

As far as I know, Australia would get the British e-book editions.
Unfortunately, there no British e-book editions of Otherland right now:-(

I know I used to be able to trick Amazon by changing my location to US, but I donĀ“t know if that is still possible. You would need a US billing address to be able to do that now.

Re: OTHERLAND in e-book format

I used to be able to do that but doesn't seem to work any more. I'll give it another go when I get a chance.

Re: OTHERLAND in e-book format

I have not tried to do it in a long time.
Maybe google a solution? There must be other readers with the same problem, and I am sure there is a way around it.
