Re: QM - The 80's

Me too, Em. I even have lists of lists.

I shudder to think what I'd be like if I were about to go to Australia - either I would be bouncing enough to hit my head on the ceiling, or I'd be lying under my desk whimpering nervously.

Beasties were extremely happy with their crickets... and I'm still not very happy with the feeding of said crickets...
They're shedding skin again... and the terrarium is full of pieces of dragonskin.... which looks quite bizarre...

I'm so happy that it's weekend, even if I have to work, at least I can do it from home.....

*waves*

I really need a hide-away-at-home-all-by-myself weekend soon - not this weekend, though, since my boss has offered to take me along to a horticultural show (if he decides to go). Maybe next week? I haven't had nearly enough time to myself this year, and it's getting exhausting.

Gah.... I've been so good during Castlefest, not buying anything and now I'm sorry for that.... 's not fair. I should have bought those gorgeous ear-thingies that wrapped around your ear without a need for punctures.... Of course you can't find them anywhere else....

Like this one? or similar? They just need the one "standart" earlobe piercing.
I got those, they are pretty but they wont fit for every ear. I for example can´t wear them very long they pinch my ear. You can adjust them a bit since silver isnt that hard but you´ll need to be carefull not to break them.
They also have a pair that looks more floral
I bought them at a local shop but I can try to find some online shops if those are the earings your looking for. I knowm i have seen them in some shops. Try gothic /rock /medival online shops if you want to look for them yourself. Emp.de has them but I´ve seen them cheaper I think.

And Sahi it seems your sending non rainy sky has worked.
It rained the entire day and than suddenly in the evening the sky cleared up and we finally got to go see the garden park with the Illumination. It was nice but I expected a bit more.
Still fun though :-)

Re: QM - The 80's

Nope, no ear piercings for Libra at all. (By the way, Libra, just google for the words snake ear "no piercing", that should find you jewelry like what we saw.)

Yay, I'm so glad the sending of the blue sky helped!

And I have lists all over the house of course! I had one for luggage and one for chores. (And those were just from the last week.)

So this is probably the last post for a couple of weeks.

Re: QM - The 80's

Yes, Sahi is right... I don't have piercing nor can I ever have them (due to silly cells underneath skin that like to overproduce)... Saw (and tried out) this gorgeous ear jewellery at Castlefest, which just sits on/around your ear. Have googled like crazy yesterday (even tried to find the name of the shop at Castlefest) but can't find it or something like it anymore.... really sad about it. There's a lot of "earwraps" out there but they actually pinch the ear.
Darn, should have not kept my money in my pocket....

Re: QM - The 80's

ah I got that wrapped around ear description wrong.
You could try asking people on the castlefest forums if they know the shops name?

That might actually work... I'll try that....
I just want to have these things.... stupidly as I've never had urges to wear ear jewellery...... hehehe

Re: QM - The 80's

Ugh, I'm tired. Just got back from visiting a horticulture exhibition with my boss (and of course, I bought yet another plant), and it was all I could do to keep my eyes open on the way back.

Re: QM - The 80's

I've got a big problem - I lost one of my notebooks. The one that contains story-pieces I was just going to type up. It was on the desk yesterday, and now it isn't any more. And I have no idea where it could have gone.

Re: QM - The 80's

I feel so stupid now, because I really don't know where I could have put it. And at the same time, angry and scared, because the only way I can see that it could have disappeared is that someone has taken it. Which I can't really imagine, either, because it could only have been someone in my family... but I just can't explain it any other way.
But none of them is at home, so I can't even ask if someone has seen it. Which makes me even more angry.

Re: QM - The 80's

All right, I'm learning, I'm learning. Learning from rainy Castlefest days and how they can be saved by having fun elsewhere.

I still haven't found the notebook, but instead of curling up with a book and declaring the day ruined, I tidied up my room (still hoping I'd find it) and guess what I found? Not the notebook, but something almost as good - a loose page of paper with exactly the bit of the story that I need (it seems I rewrote that from what I'd written in the notebook).

Hurricane Earl is making troubles. Looks like it will hit North Carolina, if it stays on track. Hopefully, it shifts a little to the left and misses.

Someday will find you.

Brrr,  cold and wet. Just changed out of my second pair of rain-soaked trousers today.
At least it's a weather that spider mites are bound to dislike. I might almost like it because of that.

Nice Summer day today. Not too cold. Not too hot. And not too much humidity.

Latest track on Earl makes him even more worrisome. Still a ways out to sea, tho'.
