Hello all (Marian, Shaddows & Ice, Tad, Treehouse, Wickedtribe, and all lurkers (and people I might have missed)). I'm just dropping in briefly. I've had a long day, and this is my short catch-up before I go to bed.

Oh, well, who needs sleep? A six-thirty (am) shift isn't that early, is it?

Hiya back.
I can't claim any originality on that count, dude. 'Tis a Simpsons quote. "You're living in that past, man. Contemporize!"
It's also a word: http://www.dictionary.com/cgi-bin/dict. … ntemporize
Neat, huh?

Hi Chucky and Boondocker. I've been drafted into watching a lemur documentary with my son. I'll have to postpone this round of mad frivolity until later on so I can spend some time bonding with the lad over Madagascan fauna.

Five minutes of sleep? No, no, I stay on the board until 6:10, bike to work, then sleep for two and a half hours until the shift is over. All good! (we're underpaid, and anyways, nobody ever drowns)

Tschus, it is, but the U has an umlaut, so Tschues would be more accurate, I think. (Of course, I didn't know this offhand, just got a German dictionary today.)
Gut abgepasst sein!
Chucky, hi!
Tad, bye!

I'm really in the mood to curl up on the couch and read Yeats for a while. I think I'm going to vamoose, too.
