Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

Re: QM - Lithium

Back from the grandparents. Surprisingly pleasant visit, though that was mostly due to the presence of my older cousins.

Re: QM - Lithium

*Happily takes cold and snow from Sahi and Em*  Thank you kindly for your cold and snow.  Actually, it is supposed to get cold in Montreal on Friday.  The high for Friday is forecast to be 6 fahrenheit,  which is about minus 14 celsius with a wind chill that will make it feel like minus 25 celsius.  Temperature wise, it does fall within what I call "parka range", but it is moderate "parka weather".  I will most likely not even put my hood up, which is what I usually do when it is much colder.

G'maen!
snowing here, though not as cold as in the last days. well, it warmed up enough to give me a massive migraine spell. that's the first time i'm having one in winter! usually it's the warm winds in spring and summer that drive me mad with headaches and sickness, but apparently it's every major temperature shift to the warmer. blergh! *stays in bed and tries not to move too much*

Re: QM - Lithium

Not having a too great morning. Unpleasant discoveries before breakfast, and with the weather being what it is, I think I'll have to pay for the train later today rather than taking the additional long walk I'd been planning.

Re: QM - Lithium

And then I have to go to this meeting of the alumni society at my old school, which means I have to wear my rather uncomfortable "pretty" trousers. But oh well. Who knows what comes of it.

Typing up story-bits and story-notes spread over a dozen of notebooks, some of them over five years old. Fun.
