Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

On another news front, Chelsea passed her Driver's Permit test. Now, she can learn to drive a car. I don't know if this is such a good thing. :o/

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

My cat had a similar operation last year, and it was so frightening. Lots of deep breaths taken that day, but lots of crying, too.

Em, she'll be fine. Just try not to shriek every time she turns a corner. ;)

Heck, I'm not going to be the one teaching her!!! Husband's job. Neither of us would survive if I had to teach her! :oP

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

I'm very happy only instructors are allowed to teach people to drive here. People are bad enough chauffeurs as it is.

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

But you're so calm in the car! Okay, I'll stop.

Y'know... *random* ... I signed up for Match.com this month, and haven't checked it hardly at all. I don't know what I was thinking. I don't care nearly enough about getting dates to spend that kind of money on them.

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

Thanks, again. I'm trying to hope that with a name like his, he can't just die.

Ehhh... driving. I should learn that some time. Soon.

Way overdue on going home. G'night all! (Though as Ivo isn't home tonight, I might just pop back in later.)

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

It's not that I doubt online dating has its potential for good; it's that I'm not really all that excited about dating. I rather like being single.

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

I should tidy up my room, and start studying. I was all motivated when I came home (and happy because I'd managed to buy a new skirt and blouse, and the lady at the counter remarked they were a nice combination, which has never happened to me before - seems I'm finally getting better at buying clothes), and now... *sigh*

Back with dinner. A tuna salad and bread. With a mini Magnum for dessert.

Re: QM - Bar de Doom

Didn't do much studying again. Mama brought Gandalf home, tired and wobbly-legged and with a shaved belly (but still grey-and-white), so we had to have a little welcome-home cat-petting party, and then I found some work to do on the balcony, and now it's pretty late again already.
