And it's indeed in the VirtualStore! Thanks for solving this for me. I would never, ever have found that on my own.

I think it only puts stuff in the virtual store if a program wants to write to a directory that it shouldn't really have write access to (eg, a global directory like the root of a drive, or Program Files, etc), but would have had in XP and earlier - so if you created your workspace as a subdirectory of your user directory, it should have appeared where you expected it.

Last thing we heard about him was that he went to the airport a couple of days ago (according to a friend he was living with for a while). It seems that instead, he went to Spain by car. (And as far as I know, he knows about as much Spanish as I know Italian, which is not much.)

I feel very unproductive again. But I mustn't let myself waste the day in front of the computer again.
I suppose I should go for a walk, and try to buy a wastepaper basket (if I find one I like).

We have a wastepaper basket from Ikea. It's from braided(?) wood. Hmm, I can't find it on their site.

That's more or less what I'm looking for. But all I could find today was ugly, shrilly-coloured plastic. I won't allow that in my room.

I should have gone to Ikea while I was at school. School is practically "right next to it" (which, considering that it is out in the middle of nowhere means only about 20 min on foot away).
