We have mixed up cuttings of two different pelargonium cutlivars again. Which is very, very bad. Wasn't my fault, though, and I refuse to tell the sort-of boss - I'll leave that to the journeyman who is responsible (as he didn't inform us that he'd started taking cuttings of the new cultivar, so we assumed it was all the same).

Probably - until they're flowering. And by that time, they'll be even more mixed up (as they'll be repotted and moved around several times).  And we're supposed to make cuttings from them again, which will get mixed up still worse. Gah. *hides face in hands* Even if it's not my fault, it really bothers me.

Usually, I just give such mixed-up plants the new cultivar name, "Town Gardens Special Mix", but this is too much to joke about it.

I also suggested naming it after N.'s little daughter - N. was an apprentice at the Town Gardens until the year before last, and she visited us with her baby yesterday (and we believe that we were so busy admiring little S. that the journeyman forgot to mention he'd started on the new cultivar.

I'm copying stupid quotes from school (which I wrote down on a piece of paper in my pencilcase) into my book of funny-silly quotes. Such lovely lines as "And how do I get the reindeer to puke?"

Yeah for solving computer probs! And, yes, Magpie, colorful flowers are a perfect foil against the gray outside your window.

I totally understand, Magpie. *hugs* One day, you'll have a garden.

My other paralegal went home (Ohio) to deal with a family emergency. She'll be gone for a week? a month? who knows?

I'll leave in a bit to go to the cinema with a friend (to finally see Inkheart) and pick up my new glasses. I think I'll go by bike, it's sunny and, I think, relatively warm.
