Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

QM - The Genisis X is leaving Mint

The bags are packed, the bar serves all drinks in those non-spill travel cups and there is a wierd guy sitting in the corner wrestling with an antiquated GPS mumbling something about avoiding tollways.

Today I'm leaving to go to the army so I won't be around for about six weeks or so and what better farewell thread to have than one with a fully stocked bar!

*huggles all the minters*

Ciao!

Oh, Gen! Don't go!

Okay, you can go. But be safe. Don't let them beat up on you too much. :)

My best friend's son is leaving next month. She's in denial; hasn't even marked it on her calendar.

Re: QM - The Genisis X is leaving Mint

Well.... this weekend I have achieved new bookcases-ness and nightstand-ness.... and I even put them together.... and enjoyed myself muchly with re-arranging my books to my liking!!

My house is looking more and more like a real house... which is cool... and makes me completely want to forget moving out again!!!

Re: QM - The Genisis X is leaving Mint

Just rain here. But the sky looks blue right now. So I might get lucky and reach home staying dry.

Re: QM - The Genisis X is leaving Mint

Do you ever wonder where the stuff in your desk drawers come from? I swear I don't put this stuff in it -- perhaps there is a dimension, the same dimension where socks disappear to from the dryer, from which stuff teleports itself into my desk drawer.

Whatcha think?

My stuff disappears in my desk, so you must be a source while I must be a sink.  Do you have my favorite pen by chance?

I don't think so. Did you lose a half-eaten bag of crisps?

*drops into mint from convenient little hidden trapdoor in mint's roof*

Gah.... I think I'm doing my phd in procrastinating this weekend..... well long weekend...

I really have not done anything today.... except for moving the smarch-cards from one side of the room to the other....

And I promised myself to clean today and haul up my Agatha Christie novels, so I could put them where the clash of assorted books (that now reside in my newly purschased bookcase) used to be....

*is ashamed of self*

I should have more free days than only three.... *nods savagely*
