It's always too soon, isn't it? I'd probably be whining even if I still had another two weeks.

Maen ladies.
Watched the patriot today. Tis a good movie. You'd think the british would learn to not irritate Mel Gibson after what happened in Scotland.

*tumbles in*
I forced myself to go outside even though it was a yucky grey day, and went to ride my bike for an hour - it was pretty cold, but I feel good now.

Re: QM - The Shiny New Room!
Hey Mint
Went shoping with Mom today, and didnt find..anything. No new jeans, no leather jacket no nothing ..gotta be online shoping for me than. BUT I got some Cd´s, not all that I wanted but oh well at least 2 out of 5 on my List. So it turned out to be a girls day..shoping with Mom, coffee& gossip and I even bought two femal vocal Cd´s (Amanda and Tori that is). Since I realised I have a big fat gap in my Cd collection, having not many Cds with female singers, thats a pitty but I can´t find much music with females that I actually like. I got Tori (again! suprise!), Amanda Palmer, Cristina Scappia (Lacuna Coil) and Flowing Tears..thats it.. Sooooooooooo any suggestions? Note: No Nightwish, Xandria or stuff like that I just HATE this high-pitched voices..wow. Oh and I got Bowie´s "Low" just a few days back..love it love it love it, any Bowie Fans here? Which Album should I buy next? Heros?

I checked which tests I have next week, and I don't want to study for any of them. Bah.

January is the Horror for me too, 3 Tests, 3 presentations and a class on the weekend at the end of the month right before the stupid maths test (Friday to Sunday ..can you hear me screaming so full of joy over there?!) And of course I havent learned as much as I should have for those tests by now.

Re: QM - The Shiny New Room!
Hi Lunar, Magpie, cyan, Em!
Lunar, I love Amanda Palmer. I don't have her solo CD yet, but I love the Dresden Dolls, saw them in concert once and read Amanda's blog.
I like Bowie, but not enough to be able to recommend albums. I always just borrowed my mom's. Hmm, I should probably get some of his, too....
I am having this weird soreness today, think it's a reaction to all the food I ate yesterday. SO MUCH food. My friend had a New Year's Day potluck and games day, so I started eating at one and didn't stop until, oh, nine. The back of my neck started to feel sore to the touch before bed last night, and now it's an all-over tenderness. So strange.
No fever or anything, or I'd be worried.

Hey Marian. "Who Killed Amanda Palmer?" is worth buying. I liked some of the Dresden Dolls stuff (not all )but I do like every single song on her solo CD. :-) Hope you feel better soon.

Hi Marian! Sounds like you had fun too. I was mostly a couch potato yesterday. Which was fine with me. ;-)
It's raining, bah. I should go do laundry today, but that may have to wait until tomorrow.

Re: QM - The Shiny New Room!
I don't want to talk on the phone... I know I should, but now one friend called me, and I'm afraid that after this, I won't have the energy to call any of the others I haven't talked to for ages. Also, she keeps talking about my father, and I just don't want to talk about him.

Re: QM - The Shiny New Room!
Lunar, are you getting the collector's book of "Who Killed Amanda Palmer?" with the Neil Gaiman bits? Makes me wish I had a boyfriend to bribe for killer gifts....
cyan, it's raining here, too. And cold.

Magpie, did you work for the EPC in a past life? I very rarely talk on the phone when I'm at home, but that's mostly because I spent years talking on the phone all day long for work.
