Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

PS Mycanid:  you should add "QM" in the front of the room name.

The barkeep is a ... friend of mine ... named Whisperer ... you might want to wear a pair of gloves, btw. He has a rare and wonderful selection, but he tends to get the glasses a little ... erm ... wet ... in his handling thereof.

The servers will rise from the earth in just a minute ... they are still moving ... items from the collapsed cavern I am told.

You will recognize them when they come ... they are similar to a smaller version of the ogres from War of the Flowers.

I would be surprised if you weren't, blue one.

Mr. W., kin I have a bottle of Jack, with bendy straw? And, while you are at it, got any of those cheesy fish-shaped crackers?

Someday will find you.

Come to think of it I am not really sire if Whisperer is a male OR a female.

*ponders*

Never thought to ask.

I am very pleased you all have been willing to visit me amongst the caves and passages of my home! :)

And how are you today cyan?

You know, to be honest I know very little of any of the active members in this part of the this board.

Actually though, I am dark purple in color ... the blue looking skin is caused from the light of the particular variety of fungus I placed in the globes hanging from the ceiling.

Re: [QM] Deeper and deeper we delve....

I'm okay.  A bit grumpy, if truth be told.  But that's largely because I haven't yet resolved my broken washing machine issue.  Otherwise, I'm glad it's Friday!

You can learn a bit about some folks here if they posted something in the "Welcomes" thread, or look in their profile.  Though I realise that doesn't always tell you simple things, like the fact that I'm in California.

No worries ... I was not cross examining per se. I was just saying hello and making conversation I guess: sorta a getting to know you. :)

Regarding postcount yes - I hold that dubious badge of distinction in ... another place ... as well! :D

I garnered that from your location. ;)

But ... I too am in Cali! :D I am far, far to the north - 40 or so miles to the west of Redding....
