Tad Williams' Message Board

Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies -- 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'
-    Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

Welcome to the message board for tadwilliams.com. All comments are welcome, whether kudos or brickbats. However, please bear in mind that Tad would like this to be a friendly, civil message board, at least in the relations between users. We reserve the right to remove postings, or even ban postings, from anyone who crosses the boundary of reasonable taste. Basically, you can argue vigorously with someone, but watch your language, okay? We have a lot of young readers as well as grown-ups, so please show them some respect.

But the main requirement here is: have fun.

Honeygirl, I do not appreciate your attempts to sully my reputation here, in my home on the intarwebz.  Even if your weapon of choice is factual.

Very well, then, missy. You're as pure as the purest snow drift on the Swiss Alps.

What?  We're going to the Swiss Alps?  Does that package you're sending me contain airline tickets??  *snuggles*

Re: The Pirate's Boudoir

Isn't that a fact! But it can in fact be warm in the alps, even when there's snow. *remembers sitting on a terrace in the snow in her t-shirt*

Warmth and snow go hand in hand together? Wow! :D

Sounds like something I must investigate, someday...

Re: The Pirate's Boudoir

Well it might not always be cold in winter in the alps, but I still prefer ski-trousers to lederhosen. Less conspicuous too.

Re: The Pirate's Boudoir

That would be sensible :)

If I ever get rich enough to afford Europe *gusty sigh* I want to visit the Tyrol. This is mostly because one of my favourite series when I was a kid were the Chalet School books.

::sips rum, being very careful to avoid the little blue person::

::balms her snout::

all this coconuttiness makes me feel like a fresh tropical breeze.

A fresh tropical breeze would be better than the subtropics without a breeze.

*hands Mwy some more balm*
